The year we tried to run away from the rain! We headed south during the Christmas holidays, managing to find a little sun, but mostly we had rain, fog, snow and ice. Our return trip was one huge skating rink from south of Portland to Olympia. Its always good to get an ocean hit though and we enjoyed beach play and town biking.
