Insatiable Passion!

I don't really plant for color but for texture, shape and year-around interest.  So, given my pronouncement that "green is a color too" it seem like I have lots of non-green color -- STILL -- in my garden.  A quick walk around the garden resulted in several beautiful vignettes.

Let no one think that real gardening is a bucolic and meditative occupation.  It is an insatiable passion, like everything else to which a man gives his heart.
~Karel Čapek, The Gardener's Year, translated by M. and R. Weatherall, 1931
